Initial release of Google’s new browser was only for Windows. Later they introduced Linux and Mac versions. But Linux and Mac versions are yet to come out of development stage.
Recent Linux versions of Google Chrome has the ability to play flash. After installing the development version in Ubuntu, Chrome add its repositories to the source list of Ubuntu so that you can update to future versions through Ubuntu Update manager. You can download latest development version of Google Chrome for Ubuntu from here. Just double click on the downloaded deb file to install on Ubuntu
Requirements: Intel Pentium 4 / Athlon 64 or later CPU; 32- or 64-bit Ubuntu 8.04 or later, or 32-bit Debian 5. Support for other Linux distributions is planned; unpacking the .deb files by hand may work. Read the rest of this entry →
